Verve Towers
Design and Documentation with CKDS Architects in Newcastle, we’ve been working on a 4585m2 site in the heart of the ambitious new urban district at the long neglected western end of central Newcastle. With work to commence on site in 2017, it will be one of the first new developments within the area identified for higher density near the new Wickham interchange and is in an ideal position to take full advantage of the transport, shopping, public places and civic open spaces.
Parramatta Escarpment Boardwalk
The boardwalk is a crucially important piece of infrastructure for Parramatta as it is one of two missing links that, when connected, will allow continuous foreshore access for pedestrians and cyclists from University of Western Sydney at Rydalmere to Parramatta Park.
Lemur Forest Adventure
Design and Documentation for development application and construction for a walk through lemur exhibit, including a waterfall, forest and lemur structures, entry and exit structures and a night house for ring tailed lemurs.
Constitution Avenue
A competition-winning scheme to upgrade one of Canberra’s most prominent avenues located at the head of the Parliamentary Triangle. Completed in 2016 the upgrade has established it as a grande-boulevard of Canberra and a premier street address for cultural and recreational facilities. The project has recently taken out the 2017 ACT AIA award for Urban Design as well as the prestigious Canberra Medallion.
Strathfield Affordable Housing
Design and Documentation of 44 boarding rooms over 4 levels. The design has been articulated efficiently with east and west facing rooms off a naturally-ventilated central corridor. A series of framed projecting balconies to the west and lineal screen balconies to the east provide extra shading and privacy to the rooms.
Thomas Street Cloud Gate
Documentation of a Public Art Project for Sydney City with Artist Lindy Lee. The Installation is part of an ambitious City of Sydney project for Thomas Street to recognize past and present cultural indignity of Haymarket.
Public Sydney
A contemporary catalogue of Sydney’s public places and spaces – our greatest asset, that any proud Sydney-sider should own. Beautifully drawn and arranged, this book reveals a deep understanding of the complexities of Sydney’s evolution and current condition which we so often take for granted.
